A band from Oxford, MS, Blue Mountain came to New York City in 1995 and blew me away at Tramps and this was one of their tunes. They wound up working with Eric "Roscoe" Ambel on the album "Dog Days", which this song came from. I would listen to this album a lot, especially when driving to Upstate NY from New York City. This song always reminded me of getting out of the City and I really identified with it and it has been a staple in many Esquela setlists over the years.
