Esquela Jr, is the band’s effort to branch out to a younger audience by recording original songs, whose lyrics might resonate with both children and their parents. In 2017, Esquela Jr. released “For the Sake of the Parents” and performed locally in support of the release. There are 9 original songs written by John “Chico” Finn and Becca Frame, with musical collaboration by Brian Shafer on Guitar and Keith Christopher on drums. Matt Woodin plays mandolin and guitar for the band as well.
